At 3:00 p.m. on March 29, an international exchange program seminar focusing on programs of the University of Reading and the University of London was held in Room 312 of the College of Food Science. Wang Yujue from the UK-China Science,EducationandCultureExchange Centreand Ma Yanni from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchangesof Southwest University were invited to deliver lectures. Hu Zi, foreign affairs secretary of the college, presided over the seminar, with undergraduate and graduate student representatives in attendance.

Ms. Wang from the UK-China Science, Education and Culture Exchange Centre highlighted the content and features of food science research programs at the University of Reading and the University of London, answered students' questions about study abroad conditions and visiting programs, and provided feasible suggestions and development plans for students.Ms. Ma from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchangeselaborated on the relevant policies of overseas exchange studies at Southwest University, especially the university’s financial support policies. She encouraged students to actively participate in international exchange programs and introduced various channels for interested students to obtain relevant program information.

The seminar comprehensively introduced the university’s overseas exchange policies, laying a solid foundation for students’ future international study visits. It effectively enhanced students’ awareness of international exchanges, provided an effective way for students to enrich their academic experience and broaden their global vision, and helped foster a stronger academic atmosphere in the college.
