On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party Branch of the China-Hungary Belt and Road Joint Laboratory of Food Science has won the title of Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Chongqing Education System. This marks the first time the college has received this honor in nearly a decade.

Relying on the advantages of national-level scientific research platforms and high-level talent teams, the Party Branch firmly upholds the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, strictly implements the general requirements for Party building in the new era and the organizational line of the Party. It innovatively establishes a "onecore, two directions and three dimensions" Party building work system, solidly carries out a series of actions themed "Endeavor, Strength and Practice", and implements key tasks including the "Teacher Empowerment Program" and the "Three Major Projects". Committed to empowering collaborative scientific research and innovation through high-quality Party building, the branch strives to build the distinctive Party building brand of "Light of Food, Shining for Belt and Road Co-construction". It gives full play to the fighting fortress role of primary-level Party organizations, adheres to the original mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, and lays a solid organizational foundation for the construction of first-class disciplines and the connotative development of higher education.

Taking this commendation as a new starting point, all Party members will thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Party building, and consolidate their ideals and convictions with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Under the guidance of strengthening the Party's political construction, they will closely follow the national strategic development needs, target the goal of building a food science and technology collaborative innovation hub for the Belt and Road Initiative, and deepen the in-depth integration of Party building and professional work. The Party will effectively translate its organizational and theoretical advantages into tangible results for disciplinary innovation and development, and fully serve the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the construction of an education powerhouse.
